Power output doesn't mean permanent silence

This car's power-output instructions include states in which the engine helps top up energy, and the manual also explains the carbon monoxide risk from engine exhaust. So "supplying power" cannot be taken to mean the engine will never run. Power output must not be used in an enclosed space or near flammable or explosive materials, and you can't use it to power a campsite in such places. ^[1]

Planning the situation matters more than advertised power

The manual says that even with the garage door open, the engine may only run for as long as it takes to drive the car out of the garage; it must not run continuously in a garage. A feeling of good ventilation or a look around on site doesn't override the ban on enclosed spaces. Check on the actual car whether power output is fitted, and don't modify the powertrain or bypass protections to keep it quiet. ^[1]

Power-output accessories, loads and usage limits must be confirmed through official documents and professional service; don't connect to a household electrical circuit and don't make adapter leads. If you notice a smell, smoke or an abnormal message, stop using it and get help.
