India Venue concealed front wipers: can't lift the arms when parked low

Scope: Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line for the Indian market, based on the 448-page owner's manual for the official catalogue entry "Nov 2025 to Present", limited to the concealed front windscreen wiper design described in that manual; the actual car and blade specification need checking separately. The catalogue period doesn't imply a uniform model year or publication date. Not for earlier periods, other markets, models or the rear wiper; no steps for entering the service position, removing blades or mechanical adjustment.

They can't be lifted directly; know the parked-position limit first

The manual states clearly that the front wipers are a concealed design and can't be lifted in the lower parked position; the arms should be in the upper wiping position specified in the manual before lifting. So before cleaning or having blades changed, let the workshop confirm the design and position conditions; don't conclude that the hinge has seized because it won't lift at the bottom, and don't copy another car where the arms lift directly. This article only explains the limit; it gives no button sequence for entering the service position, and doesn't suggest forcing the arm by hand to a position that looks right. If it has already jammed, hit something or visibly bent, stop and have it checked by professionals; more force isn't a test. [1][2]

Cleaning materials and moving the wipers by hand also have clear limits

The same page says not to move the wipers by hand, and prohibits using petrol, kerosene, paint thinner or other solvents on or near the blades and arms. If smears remain after cleaning, a stronger solvent or pushing the blades by hand isn't the next step. Owners can give service staff the products used before and when, so they can check the materials and treatment; this record suggestion isn't the manufacturer's cleaning formula. This article doesn't promise that any glass cleaner suits every part, nor conclude from streaks that the rubber or drive mechanism is damaged. If parts are obstructed, blades hit something or move abnormally, stop operating them repeatedly and book a check. [1]

Blade replacement depends on the specified spec and protecting the glass

The manual prohibits non-specified blades, and warns that when a blade is removed the arm shouldn't touch the windscreen, to avoid damaging the glass; the arms should also be back on the windscreen before driving. When getting a quote, ask the workshop to state the blade specification for this car and the basis for fitting, rather than only confirming the clip fits and the length is about right. The handover record should separate blades replaced, whether abnormalities were checked and items still outstanding; glass protection and actual function are the workshop's job using the car's information. This article lists no unverified sizes or adaptors, and doesn't apply front wiper rules to the rear wiper. If you can't keep a clear view, stop driving and get help, rather than testing the wipers repeatedly on the road instead of proper sign-off. [1]
