A clean look isn't electrical safety

The manual prohibits letting water run directly onto the dashboard, the floor or nearby electrical components, and prohibits washing the vehicle floor with water. Stains on the carpet tempt people to rinse them with lots of water, but cleaning the interior also means keeping materials and electrics dry; a surface stain disappearing does not prove that no water got into the area underneath. ^[1]
