Yuan Pro battery sealing recall: why reduced power after water exposure does not justify an immediate pack order

If a Yuan Pro shows reduced power after travelling through standing water and the quotation immediately lists a complete battery pack, first separate water-ingress inspection from recall rectification. The official action for certain Yuan Pro vehicles in China concerns battery sealing. Its published measure uses dedicated sealant to reinforce the housing. The problem concerns sealing, not whether coolant needs changing

The Oct 17, 2025 notice states that manufacturing issues may leave the traction battery sealing gasket incorrectly installed, reducing sealing performance. A gasket-related defect does not instruct owners to buy a gasket

A component named in the defect does not necessarily define a component-only remedy. Confirm the manufacturer reinforcement arrangement first. “Battery sealing gasket installation issue” alone does not justify specifying a gasket repair kit or treating general-purpose sealant as equivalent.

Reinforcement cannot replace assessment of existing water damage

“The notice does not require every pack to be replaced” does not mean “every affected pack only needs sealant”.
